The Coronavirus pandemic has just begun to unfold in India and the job losses are mounting, especially among the daily wage workers. Experts say the effect on this group will be catastrophic. We have launched this campaign to help provide a safety net to casual labour families who have lost their jobs. These include plumbers, chai wallahs, cobblers, construction workers, laundry workers (dhobis), rickshaw drivers, roadside barbers, flower vendors, cleaners, etc
We aim to directly support these families by providing them with cash in hand so that they are able to pay rent & buy food to feed their families.
